Grant's 1st Birthday and Happy Thanksgiving!

 So today is Thanksgiving and Grant's first Birthday! It is hard to believe that he is now 1. It seems like yesterday that we were driving to Laramie, Wy to see if we were going to have a baby or not. Of course, we did and this past year has been full of wonderful memories because of Grant Jackson, he is such a sweet and kind boy! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, surrounded by loved ones and lots of great food! I know we are very thankful for what we have and where we are, and very thankful for our beautiful and healthy boys! Here are some pictures of Grant's birthday and of the boys together!

November Update

So, the rainy season has finally come to the Southern Willamette Valley, therefore causing the Yates' family to find activities inside. Grant seems to like this because he gets to play a lot more with his big Brother. Activities that the boys' are enjoying inside are building with Legos, rolling balls around the living room and crawling all around the house. Beau has started to work out again and getting ready to train for another marathon in May, which will be the 'Famous Potato' in Boise. Yvonne is steady with work and for now it seems to be calming down a bit. Here are a few pictures of the handsome Yates' boys.

Trick or Treat!!

We had a great time for our first Oregon Halloween. Harrison dressed up as a Ninja and Grant was aDinosaur. Yvonne went as a resident of Rawlins, WY per the outfit she had on (pictures omitted!) and Beau went as a domestic engineer.The neighbor across the street made their garage and back yard into a haunted house which about scared Harrison to tears! Afterwords Grant and Harrison had fun counting all the bounty! Lots of candy, lots of fun. On to the up coming holidays! Enjoy the pictures. Take care.  

Happy 6th Birthday Jackson Aiden

We celebrated Jackson's 6th birthday by going to the coast and releasing balloons.  Afterwords we drove home and ate birthday cake, Harrison thought that was a pretty good deal especially since he got to eat cake and stay up past his bed time!! It was a great day of remembrance. Thank you to all the friends and family that have not only supported us over the past six years but have kept Jackson's memory alive. Dorena Dam/Row River fishing trip

Harrison and Dad got out last weekend for another adventure. Below the Dorena Lake dam is supposed to be a prime trout fishing spot, but no luck for! But after that they went to Schultz park and fished along the banks of the Row River. We sound like a broken record but what amazing scenery we have here! According to locals that area is been known as black bear and cougar habitat! Well how great does that sound? We think Dakota saw a bear in one of the pictures. With that in mind we purchased bear spray just in case! It was a great day to be out and about! This weekend we might take a trip to the coast, beach comb and fish a few lakes in the area. College Game Day

Since we couldnt get to college game day when it was in Boise we decided to check it out in Eugene. There was absolutely no parking so we just got in a "drive by" and took a few pictures. Lots and lots of duck fans wearing their ugly yellow and green gear! Anyway it was cool seeing the stadium and all the activity surrounding the event!
