Happy 7th Birthday Jackson Aiden
October 18th marked Jackson's 7th birthday. Our sweet angel has given us so much over the past years. We feel lucky and thankful to have had him in our lives and his memory still resides within us today. We celebrated by letting go 7 balloons over Cottage Grove Lake, then driving into Springfield to watch Cars 2 in the theater. Afterwords we closed the day out with a birthday cake! It was a wonderful day of reflection and remembrance.
City of Trees-2011
Beau ran in his 7th half-marathon, it was the last race of the year for him. As always we had fun with Harrison running the last few yards with his dad! The weather was absolutely perfect for racing! Beau look's forward to taking some time off from hectic race training, riding his new bike more and getting ready for next year's race season. Enjoy the pictures.

Bike helmets make you look cool! ummm yeah right!
Giving it one last test ride before heading out
Riding though the fog on the way to the start
Off we go!
Harrison and Grant having fun on the swing sets waiting for daddy!
Today Beau rode in his first cycling event, Cycle the Lakes here in Cottage Grove. Started around 9:30 am and took 4 hours 30 minutes to ride 60 miles. Great atmosphere and volunteers. The course was mostly on the Row River Trail system around Dorena Lake then up into the Umpqua National Forest. Great weather in the mid 80's. After words the Rotary club of CG served apple pie and ice cream, a nice touch after a long day!

New Bike! (for daddy)
Harrison wasnt the only one who got a new bike. Beau recently bought a trek for cross-training and some event riding. Tomorrow Sept 24th is the first annual Cycle the Lakes here in CG!
New Bike!
Harrison got a new 18" bike for his birthday. We're hoping this size of bike lasts for at least a few years!
