Idaho Vacation-Famous Potato 2012

Coming through the finishing chute

Hey kid get your head out of the way!!

Handsome future marathoner!

We were excited to drive back to Idaho for a long awaited trip to see friends and family. We had a great time and wish we had more days. Beau ran his eighth half and fourth Famous Potato, it was a great race posting one of his best times. Once again Harrison ran with dad the last bit of the race and got the finishers medal. We'll see everyone this October for the City of Trees Marathon!

American Eagle!

Harrison and Dad were out back messing around one weekend, Harrison spotted these eagles flying right above our house. Very neat to see them up close!

Depoe Bay Rainbow

The most brilliant rainbow we've seen! Right outside our back deck. Pretty cool!

Day at the beach-Spring 2012 Depoe Bay, OR

This picture taken outside our house, the first bald eagle we've seen. There was this one and another one circling around, pretty amazing!

Harrison's First BB Gun!

Yesterday we went out and bought Harrison his first BB gun, he paid half from allowance and we sprang for the rest. Our back yard is perfect for some good old target practice shooting cans! Harrison is having fun learning about gun safety and is a pretty good shot!

Line 'em up!

Complete with his camo polo shit!

Oregon Coast Snow!

A weather system rolled into the area Tuesday with high wind gusts of 65 mph, rain then 6 inches of snow overnight! Hwy 101 along with other roads were completely shut down, Harrison has had school canceled for the last two days! Which he's not complaining about! The kids had lots of fun playing outside, Grant couldn't stop saying "snow, snow, snow!" Anyway some very strange weather for this part of Oregon. Enjoy the pictures.

Rock Climbing!

Harrison about to conquer the wall!!!

up he goes!

long way up!!
Since the weather has been cool and rainy the past few weekends Harrison and dad decided on some indoor activities at the Lincoln City Community Center, they tried out the rock climbing wall. Harrison was able to get up the wall pretty far. Enjoy the pictures.
