Oregon Coast Snow!

A weather system rolled into the area Tuesday with high wind gusts of 65 mph, rain then 6 inches of snow overnight! Hwy 101 along with other roads were completely shut down, Harrison has had school canceled for the last two days! Which he's not complaining about! The kids had lots of fun playing outside, Grant couldn't stop saying "snow, snow, snow!" Anyway some very strange weather for this part of Oregon. Enjoy the pictures.

Since the weather has been cool and rainy the past few weekends Harrison and dad decided on some indoor activities at the Lincoln City Community Center, they tried out the rock climbing wall. Harrison was able to get up the wall pretty far. Enjoy the pictures.

Sunday March 4th was the 4th annual Lincoln City Half Marathon & 10k, this year was Beau's second time running the event both last year and this year he choose the 10k, this was his first race of 2012. A great day with mild temp's and sunshine for 500 runners this year. Afterwords we all enjoyed clam chowder from Mo's along with other great snacks at the finish!
