Door to Shore

We were lucky enough to take a break from unpacking and drive to the coast, our house to Reedsport is only 72 miles on HWY 99-38. We went to the shoreline in Reedsport then came back ate lunch at a great place called Bedrock then went over to Winchester Bay hit the beach again before driving up to Florence for pizza. The temps were in the low 60's with some wind but not bad at all! We took HWY 126 from Florence to Eugene to Cottage Grove-84 miles and about an hour and a half drive back. What a great day! Cant wait to have family and friends out sometime soon. Enjoy the pictures, take care.

New House

1915 sqft, 3 bed 2 bath+ loft above garage. What a great place to wake up too everyday! We plan on finishing up the essential unpacking and arranging today and tomorrow then hit the Ocean Festival Saturday in Reedsport.

Home Sweet Home

Second day of moving into the new home is going well. Here are a few pictures of the neighborhood, inside the house and the kids when we stopped over at Jef's house. Take care. 

Cottage Grove Update

Yesterday Monday was our first day in the new house. The movers got in all of our stuff mid afternoon. We're busy unpacking which seems like a never ending task. The house is great, the neighborhood is nice and the weather is even better. Low 80's with plenty of sun and a nice cool breeze, unlike the 50mph in BFE. We'll post pictures as we go along. We hope everyone is doing good and are planning a trip to visit soon!

We're done, 1st pit stop!

We finished moving today and left Rawlins forever at 2pm, Harrison and Dad even got to ride around the block in the truck! We drove to Ogden, UT, will arrive in Boise sometime tomorrow afternoon. The trip was great especially when we crossed over the Utah state line and left Wyoming in the rear view mirror!!!  Take care, more to come!

Salvation!!!

At 9:30 this morning A Arnold moving company started the process. What a sight it was seeing that blue truck come around the corner!! They should be done tomorrow and we are out! 

Happy 4th!

Here are a few of us on or around the 4th. Incidentally fireworks are banned in the county we live in but only 25 short miles away in Sweetwater county they are for sale-so of course Beau & Harrison made a few trips! We weren't going to let illegal fireworks laws stop us from having a few beers and lighting fireworks!  Hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th! The day after tomorrow we start moving!!

Update!!! Finally!!!!

Well we are leaving the wonderful, fulfilling and exciting world of Rawlins, Wyoming. It's been about 15 months are we are finally moving! Yvonne accepted a position with Prestige Care Inc in Cottage Grove, Oregon.  We couldnt be more excited and grateful to move. In about one week professional movers will arrive to pack and load our belongings and start our new life in Oregon. We look forward to the new adventure and welcome everyone to come visit us in Cottage Grove!

January Update

So far this year has been exciting. First, we had to move, unfortunately not out of Rawlins, but to a different house that is bigger and costs less. Yvonne is still on Maternity leave and is thoroughly enjoying the time home with the boys and Beau. Harrison is doing great, he is in school and loves it. We had parent teacher conferences January 14, his teachers had nothing but great kudos for him. They said he is a delightful child and they use him as an example in class because he is one of the few that listens and is well behaved. They also said that he is very smart and could easily start kindergarten this year. Grant is growing like crazy! We had his 1 month check-up December 24, to check his heart and at that time he weighed 10lbs 2oz and his heart issue was getting better. January 27 we had Grant's 2 month check-up, his heart issue was completely diminished and he weighed 14lbs 15oz...almost 5 lbs gained in one month! I guess we need to lay off the miracle grow! Beau has been working a lot at the Sinclair Post Office, he will continue until Yvonne returns to work. Here are a few pictures from the last month, hope you all enjoy and are doing well!
